1) Mark Ingram - ALABAMA
Ht: 5'9" Wt: 215
He is considered the crown jewel of this year's draft class; he is a rugged, hard-nosed runner with an excellent blend of quickness and power. He shows a knack for finding open creases and is a strong finisher after contact. He might not deliver big plays on a consistent basis, but his relentless running style will produce move-the-chains runs that keep drives alive. He lacks of top-end speed and sometimes the deficiency shows up on tape. He doesn't flash special ability on the edges, which makes scouts wonder if he is worthy of serious consideration in the first round. -Bucky Brooks
Best Fits: (Bengals, Redskins, Dolphins, Patriots)
2) Mikel Leshoure - ILLINOIS
Ht: 6'0" Wt: 227
As a big, versatile play-maker with vision, quickness and burst, he flashes big-play potential. He can slither through creases between the tackles, while flashing the acceleration to get to the corner. His ability to get to the second level is deceptive, and his elusiveness allows him to create big plays in the open field. He finishes his runs with authority and has a knack for falling forward after contact. Throw in his natural receiving skills, and it's easy to see why teams are starting to get excited about what he brings to the table as a potential featured back. -Buck Brooks
Best Fits: (Vikings, Patriots, Dolphins, Colts)
3) Ryan Williams - VIRGINIA TECH
Ht: 5'9" Wt: 212
As a hard-nosed runner with vision, quickness and power, he routinely finds cracks in the middle of the defense on downhill runs. He shows explosiveness to and through the line of scrimmage, and he flashes tremendous power attacking defenders on the second level. Although he typically finishes his runs with force, he also shows impressive shake and wiggle in the open field. The biggest challenge to Williams' success appears to be his durability. He missed four games in 2010 and never regained a prime role in the Hokies' rotation. -Bucky Brooks
Best Fits: (Redskins, Colts, Dolphins, Patriots)
4) Daniel Thomas - KANSAS ST.
Ht: 6'0" Wt: 230
Thomas has the combination of size, strength, burst and vision to become a solid NFL starting running back. A lot of his production comes in-between the tackles, picking his lanes, bursting through the hole, staying behind his pads and finishing runs by falling forward for additional yardage. He's good in short yardage, goal line situations and has enough agility to shake some defenders, get the corner and get up-field. He does a very good job in pass protection but may never become a difference-making pass-catching option at the next level. -NFL.com
Best Fits: (Seahawks, Chargers, Dolphins, Lions)
5) Taiwan Jones - EASTERN WASHINGTON
Ht: 6'0" Wt: 194
Jones has top-end speed and a frame with some growth potential left in it. He possesses the ability to get to the corner and has home-run potential if he gets a crack. He fights for extra yards and could potentially be a mismatch in the passing game. He currently lacks the bulk of an every-down NFL running back and dances too much in the backfield at times. Also, he doesn't possess the power to put his head down and drive defenders backwards and struggles to anchor in pass protection. -NFL.com
Best Fits: (Redskins, Bengals, Rams, Packers)
6) Johnny White - NORTH CAROLINA
Ht: 5'10" Wt: 209
White is an explosive, well-rounded prospect who lacks some size and experience carrying the load. Possesses impressive speed to go with adequate size. Determined runner who fights for extra yards. Displays very good vision and patience. Explodes through the hole and makes defenders miss in the box. He's a good route-runner with soft hands and is comfortable in the passing game.He has exceptional acceleration and agility. He runs hard but likely doesn't have the bulk to be a punishing runner in the NFL. He's refined in the passing game and a capable blocker. -NFL.com
Best Fits: (Redskins, Bengals, Steelers, Packers)
7) Jacquizz Rodgers - OREGON ST.
Ht: 5'6" Wt: 196
Rodgers is a highly productive, extremely competitive, explosive, well-rounded running back prospect who simply lacks size. Despite stature, is productive between the tackles with his burst, shouldered a heavy workload in college, picked up a lot of yardage after contact, and never hesitates or backs down. Has great acceleration, balance, quickness, hands as a receiver, determination, and stamina. Can be impatient at times behind the line of scrimmage, lacks NFL home-run speed, and is not a good match-up against power pass rushers. -NFL.com
Best Fits: (Redskins, Bengals, Chargers, Saints)
8) Kendall Hunter - OKLAHOMA ST.
Ht: 5'7" Wt: 199
Hunter has good instincts and shows the ability to plant and cut quickly to find daylight. He has a compact muscular build and good speed and reads his blockers, while showing good patience to hit the hole hard. He's a quick back that has enough wiggle to make the first guy miss, but lacks the speed to consistently get the corner at the next level. He is shifty in the open field and a good receiver out of the backfield. However, he is quicker than fast and will not be able to break off long runs at the next level. -NFL.com
Best Fits: (Redskins, Bengals, Colts, Patriots)
9) DeMarco Murray - OKLAHOMA
Ht: 6'0" Wt: 213
Murray is an explosive athlete that has a chance to develop into a featured back in the NFL, but he has a lot of miles on his tires. He runs very well and has an extra gear to take it to the house when he gets a seam. His high cut frame gives him the look of a wide receiver and his precise route running and soft hands make him a weapon on third down. He does not have the power to push the pile, and has missed a lot of time due to injury. He also lacks the vision to consistently find open lanes and looks to bounce the ball outside too soon and runs a bit too high. -NFL.com
Best Fits: (Eagles, Bengals, Chiefs, Bucs)
10) Shane Vereen - CALIFORNIA
Ht: 5'10" Wt: 210
Vereen's a patient back that shows the ability to find holes and cutback lanes while remaining compact runner with a low center of gravity. Vereen lacks the size and speed to be an every down back, but he's a terrific pass catcher out of the back field possessing the hands and instincts of a receiver. He has very good vision and could be very effective in a zone blocking scheme. He also has the hands and enough lateral agility to contribute as a returner. -NFL.com
Best Fits: (Redskins, Ravens, Patriots, Jets)
